Questions
What size should my logo be for social media?
Most profile pictures are square and shown in a circle: 320 × 320 px for Instagram and Facebook, 400 × 400 px for LinkedIn and X, and 800 × 800 px for YouTube. Covers are wide, for example 1500 × 500 px for an X header and 2560 × 1440 px for a YouTube banner.
Is this logo resizer free?
Yes. It’s free with no sign-up and no watermark. Your logo is resized on your own device, so the file is never uploaded to Zenn or anyone else.
Why does my logo look small in a circle?
Circle crops cut off the corners, so a wide logo has to shrink to fit. Use your symbol or initials on their own for profile pictures, and save the full wordmark for covers.
What file should I upload?
A PNG with a transparent background or an SVG works best. JPGs work too: leave Trim switched on and the tool crops the empty space and makes a flat white or coloured background see-through.
How do I add the favicon to my website?
Upload favicon.ico, the 32 px PNG and the Apple touch icon to your site, then paste the three lines from README.txt in the zip inside your page’s head.
